Jasafar is a group of players who create the music they feel. They play original material in the blues vein – music that reflects urban life in the new millennium. They grew from a basement band of three musicians to its current group of five. This was a process of growth and change over a period of several years. They are a band of musicians from diverse backgrounds who have developed a sound which each member uses to express them individually, creating a sound that is unique to the band. Jasafar is influenced by Muddy Waters and the Chicago Blues movement of the early 1950’s and 60’s. Our lead singer was influenced by such artists as Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Co Co Taylor, and Etta James. The audience not only hears the music, but also feels the power of Jasafar and can sense the enjoyment that each musician has in both their individual performance and the eclectic sound that can only be Jasafar.

Your name will be added to the “Will Call” list. | Reserved seating in the main listening room $15.75 Reserve a seat and enjoy sandwiches and snacks from Chaplin's Cafe, or reserve a seat, and make a reservation for a full meal at the Spring City Hotel. Parties of 1 or 2 will be seated along the side bar in the main listening room. Parties of 3 or more will be seated at tables in the main room. Seating Our Cafe opens at 7pm, and we will hold your table until 7:45. We recommend a 6:00 reservation at the Spring City Hotel. For dinner reservations at the Spring City Hotel call 610-948-7525.
